The step up within the TravelMate P2 16 range, and the difference is the processor: an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H rather than the low-power 115U. The H-series part has the headroom for virtual machines, large data sets and sustained work, which is also why this model ships with a 100 W charger where the rest of the range uses 65 W.

It pairs that with a full 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD and 16 GB of DDR5 across two SO-DIMM slots, one left open for a later move to 64 GB. A second drive is optional. The display is the range’s 16-inch WUXGA slim-bezel IPS panel.

The chassis is tested to MIL-STD 810G with TPM 2.0, a fingerprint reader and an FHD infrared camera for Windows Hello. Wireless is Wi-Fi 6E 2×2 with Bluetooth, there is a microSD card reader, the keyboard is backlit and the finish is steel grey. Windows 11 Professional, with a three-year on-site warranty.
