Payment Options

At JLS Computers, we want paying for your order to be as simple as possible. Below are the payment methods we currently support, along with what’s coming soon.

EFT (Bank Transfer)

We currently accept Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) as our primary payment method (credit card payments are coming soon). EFT is free, secure, and works from any South African bank.

How EFT Works

  • Add your products to the cart and proceed to checkout.
  • Select EFT / Direct Bank Transfer as your payment method and place the order.
  • On the order confirmation page (and in your confirmation email), you’ll find our banking details and a unique order reference number.
  • Use your internet banking or banking app to transfer the order total into our account, using your order reference as the payment reference.
  • Email your proof of payment to sales@jlscomputers.co.za. This speeds up verification significantly.
  • Once payment reflects in our account, we’ll process your order and dispatch it.

EFT Timing & Clearance

  • Instant EFTs (same-bank transfers or verified instant transfers) typically reflect within minutes.
  • Standard inter-bank EFTs can take a few hours or up to one business day to clear.
  • Goods are only released or dispatched once payment has actually cleared in our account. Proof of Payment (POP) helps us prepare your order but does not by itself guarantee immediate release.

Card Payments, Instant EFT, BNPL & More (Coming Soon)

Soon customers will be able to pay via:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Instant EFT (Ozow, PayShap, and similar)
  • Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, SnapScan, Zapper)
  • Buy Now, Pay Later — PayFlex, Mobicred, Happy Pay, Float, and ZeroPay
  • Cryptocurrency

These options will be enabled at checkout automatically as soon as the integration is complete. No action is needed on your side.

Quote Validity

All prices on our website and in emailed quotations are valid for 24 hours only. This is because our pricing is influenced by the Rand/Dollar exchange rate and distributor stock levels, which can change daily. If your payment reflects after 24 hours, we may need to confirm the price is still valid before dispatch.
