At JLS Computers, we want paying for your order to be as simple as possible. You can pay by card, digital wallet, instant EFT, or a standard bank transfer — whichever suits you.

Card, Wallet & Instant EFT (via Payfast)

Our online checkout is powered by Payfast, one of South Africa’s largest payment providers. Choose Payfast at checkout and you can pay with:

Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Electron and Maestro
Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay
Instant EFT: Pay directly from your bank account, confirmed immediately
QR payments: SnapScan, Zapper and Scan to Pay

Why This Is the Fastest Option

Payments made through Payfast are confirmed the moment they go through, so your order moves straight into processing.

There is no waiting for funds to clear and no proof of payment to send. If you are in Pretoria and pay before 10:00 on a business day, this is the surest way to make the same-day delivery run.

Is It Secure?

Yes. Card details are entered on Payfast’s own secure payment page, never on our website, and we never see or store your card number. Payfast is PCI DSS compliant and uses 3D Secure verification on card transactions.

EFT (Bank Transfer)

If you would rather pay us directly, standard EFT is still available at checkout. It is free and works from any South African bank, but it is slower than paying through Payfast because we have to wait for the funds to reflect.

How EFT Works

Add your products to the cart and proceed to checkout.
Select EFT / Direct Bank Transfer as your payment method and place the order.
On the order confirmation page (and in your confirmation email), you’ll find our banking details and a unique order reference number.
Use your internet banking or banking app to transfer the order total into our account, using your order reference as the payment reference.
Email your proof of payment to sales@jlscomputers.co.za. This speeds up verification significantly.
Once payment reflects in our account, we’ll process your order and dispatch it.

EFT Timing & Clearance

Instant EFTs (same-bank transfers or verified instant transfers) typically reflect within minutes.
Standard inter-bank EFTs can take a few hours or up to one business day to clear.
Goods are only released or dispatched once payment has actually cleared in our account. Proof of Payment (POP) helps us prepare your order but does not by itself guarantee immediate release.

Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the method you paid with. Card and wallet payments are reversed through Payfast back to the original card, which your bank typically reflects within 5–10 working days.

EFT payments are refunded by bank transfer to the account the payment came from. See our Returns and Refunds policy for the full process.

Buy Now, Pay Later

We are working on adding Buy Now, Pay Later options. These will appear at checkout automatically once they are approved; no action is needed on your side.

Quote Validity

All prices on our website and in emailed quotations are valid for 24 hours only. This is because our pricing is influenced by the Rand/Dollar exchange rate and distributor stock levels, which can change daily.

If your payment reflects after 24 hours, we may need to confirm the price is still valid before dispatch.
