We offer FLAT RATE delivery of R99 and free delivery on orders over R5,000. 

Note for customers in Pretoria:

  • Free delivery on all orders (no minimum).
  • Same-day delivery on all orders placed and fully paid by 10:00 am (no minimum).

Shipping Rates at a Glance

  • Flat rate: R99 per order to any address in South Africa
  • Free nationwide delivery: on all orders over R5,000
  • Free delivery in Pretoria: on every order, no minimum
  • Same-day delivery in Pretoria: on orders placed and fully paid by 10:00 on a business day

Processing Times

Orders are processed as soon as payment reflects in our account. For EFT payments, please send proof of payment to sales@jlscomputers.co.za to speed this up.

Once dispatched, standard delivery times are:

  • Main centres (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria): 1–2 business days
  • Regional and outlying areas: 2–3 business days

Please note: orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

Shipping Costs

  • As mentioned above, all orders up to R5,000 have a flat rate of R99 for delivery.
  • Customers with delivery addresses in Pretoria qualify for free delivery.
  • Orders over R5,000 ship free anywhere in South Africa.
  • Surcharges: certain remote destinations (e.g. mines, farms, power stations, game reserves, and similar) may incur an additional courier surcharge. If this applies to your order, we’ll contact you before dispatch to confirm.

Same-Day Delivery in Pretoria

If you’re in Pretoria and your order is placed and fully paid by 10:00 on a business day, we’ll deliver it the same day. Orders paid after 10:00 are delivered on the next business day.

Payment confirmation is key — if we’re waiting on an EFT to clear, we can’t dispatch. For guaranteed same-day dispatch, please send proof of payment immediately after making the EFT.

Tracking Your Order

As soon as your parcel is collected by the courier, we’ll send you a waybill number by email. You can track your parcel in real time on The Courier Guy website or directly on our site via the Track Order page.

Insurance and Risk

  • Goods valued up to R1,000: The Courier Guy automatically assumes liability at no extra cost.
  • Goods valued over R1,000: You may optionally add Courier Insurance at checkout for 1% of the total order value.
  • Important: If insurance is not selected for high-value shipments, the risk of loss or damage in transit for the value exceeding R1,000 rests with you, the customer.

In terms of our Terms of Sale, risk in the products passes to you once the parcel is delivered to your address.

Receiving Your Parcel

Please inspect the outer packaging for any signs of damage before signing the waybill. If the box is crushed, opened, or clearly damaged:

  • Note it on the waybill before signing
  • Take clear photos of the packaging
  • Contact us immediately on +27 64 516 6742 or sales@jlscomputers.co.za

Signing a clean waybill for a visibly damaged parcel makes any later claim considerably harder.

Delivery Addresses

  • We deliver to residential and business addresses within the borders of the Republic of South Africa.
  • We do not currently ship internationally.
  • Please ensure someone will be available at the delivery address during business hours. If no one is available, the courier will attempt redelivery or may leave a collection slip.
