The 13-inch MacBook Air in Sky Blue, the newest finish in the range. This is the entry configuration of the M5 Air: a 10-core CPU, an 8-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine and 153GB/s of memory bandwidth, with 16 GB of unified memory and a 512 GB SSD.

Only the GPU separates it from the configurations above — eight cores rather than ten. That gap appears in sustained graphics work and effectively nowhere else, so unless the machine is being bought for video export or 3D, this is the configuration to take.

The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display runs 2560 × 1664 at 500 nits. MagSafe 3, two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a headphone jack; Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread; a 12 MP Center Stage camera with Desk View; a four-speaker system; and a 53.8 Wh battery rated up to 18 hours of video streaming.
