16 GB of unified memory is the Air’s base now, and it is the reason this machine feels unhurried with a browser full of tabs, Office and a photo editor open at once. The 512 GB SSD is fixed at manufacture, as is the memory.

The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina panel runs 2560 × 1664 at 500 nits. MagSafe 3, two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a headphone jack; Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread; a 12 MP Center Stage camera with Desk View; four speakers; and a 53.8 Wh battery rated up to 18 hours of video streaming. The body is fanless and weighs 1.24 kg, so it runs silent. Note: this unit is supplied without a power adapter. The MXN53 adapter must be purchased separately.
