The 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro with storage doubled to 1 TB. Since Apple’s SSDs are soldered and cannot be added to later, the choice between 512 GB and 1 TB is permanent — and for anyone shooting photo or video, 1 TB is usually the one that stops the machine feeling constrained after a year.

The chip is unchanged: an M5 with a 10-core CPU of four super cores and six efficiency cores, a 10-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine and 153GB/s of memory bandwidth, alongside 16 GB of unified memory. It is comfortably enough for design, development and everyday editing.

The 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display runs 3024 × 1964 at 254 ppi with ProMotion to 120 Hz, 1000 nits sustained and 1600 peak. Three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, SDXC, headphone and MagSafe 3, with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, and a 72.4 Wh battery rated up to 24 hours of video streaming at 1.55 kg.
