The M5 itself is a 10-core CPU of four super cores and six efficiency cores, with a 10-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine and 153GB/s of memory bandwidth, paired here with a 1 TB SSD. It is a well-balanced machine for design, development, photography and video that does not run to feature length.

The 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display runs 3024 × 1964 at 254 ppi with ProMotion to 120 Hz, 1000 nits sustained and 1600 peak.
