The Spin 311 is the Arm-based classroom convertible, running a MediaTek Kompanio 540 rather than Intel silicon. In a device that spends its day being carried between lessons, that choice is about heat and battery behaviour more than raw speed — Arm chips run cool and sip power, which suits a machine used in short bursts through a school day.

The 11.6-inch HD IPS touchscreen folds all the way back on a 360-degree hinge, and an active stylus is supplied — though it is the non-garageable type, so it does not store inside the body and needs somewhere to live. Memory is 4 GB of LPDDR5X and storage is 32 GB of eMMC, both fixed.

The chassis is tested to MIL-STD 810H for shared use. Wireless is Wi-Fi 6E 2×2 with Bluetooth, and there are two cameras — a Full HD user-facing unit and a 5 MP world-facing lens for tablet mode. It charges over a 65 W USB Type-C adapter, runs ChromeOS, and carries a three-year carry-in warranty.
