Anycubic Kobra X Multi-Colour 3D Printer – 4-Colour, 260 mm, 600 mm/s

The Kobra X puts four-colour printing inside the printer itself, rather than in a separate unit parked beside it. Four filaments feed a single hardened steel hotend, and the system can be expanded to as many as 19 colours for complex multi-colour models. Anycubic says the design cuts the length of filament changed on each colour swap by 81.25%, which matters because purge waste is the hidden running cost of multi-colour printing.

The build volume is 260 × 260 × 260 mm. Recommended speed is 300 mm/s, with a ceiling of 600 mm/s and up to 20,000 mm/s² acceleration. The nozzle reaches 300 °C and the PEI spring steel bed 100 °C, which covers PLA, PETG, TPU, ASA, PVA for dissolvable supports, and the carbon-fibre filled PLA-CF and PETG-CF. Because the standard 0.4 mm nozzle is hardened steel, those abrasive grades will not wear it out.

LeviQ 3.0 auto-levelling with Z-offset sets the first layer, and a 720P camera drives AI spaghetti detection and remote monitoring over dual-band 2.4 / 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Power-loss resume, filament runout detection with auto-resume and object skip are all built in. The printer measures 455 × 445 × 461 mm, weighs about 9.5 kg and runs at 48 dB or less.
