ASRock’s Steel Legend take on the Intel Arc B580 pairs Intel’s Xe2-HPG graphics architecture with a generous 12 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus — noticeably more VRAM than most cards at this price, which pays off at 1440p and in texture-heavy titles.
The card boosts to 2800 MHz out of the box and carries 160 XMX AI engines, giving hardware acceleration for Intel XeSS 2 upscaling and frame generation as well as AI workloads. Twin media engines with full AV1 encode and decode make it a strong choice for streaming and video work, and DirectX 12 Ultimate support covers modern ray-traced titles.
Cooling is handled by a triple striped-ring fan array over ultra-fit heatpipes with air-deflecting fins and 0dB silent mode, so the card is inaudible at idle. The white-themed shroud and metal backplate carry ARGB lighting with Polychrome SYNC and a physical LED switch. Display outputs are three DisplayPort 2.1 and one HDMI 2.1a.
