Acer TravelMate TMP214-55-39GY 14" WUXGA IPS SlimBezel, Core i3-1315U, 8GB/512GB, LTE

The entry point to the TravelMate P2 14 range, and the least expensive way into a machine with built-in LTE. It runs an Intel Core i3-1315U with 8 GB of DDR4, which is enough for browser, email and Office work — and because the memory sits in two DIMM slots with one left open, it can be taken to 32 GB later rather than being a fixed ceiling.

The display is the same 14-inch WUXGA IPS slim-bezel panel used across the range, and storage is a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD. There is a full-size SD card reader on the chassis and mobile broadband alongside Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.

Two things separate it from the models above: the keyboard is not backlit, and the camera is an HD unit rather than the FHD infrared one, so Windows Hello face sign-in is not available. The chassis is still tested to MIL-STD 810G, the 53 Wh battery still charges over a 65 W USB Type-C adapter, and it still carries a three-year on-site warranty. It ships with Windows 11 Home.
