The Spin 511 is a classroom machine, and it is built like one. The 11.6-inch HD IPS display folds all the way back to tablet on a 360-degree hinge, and the chassis is tested to MIL-STD 810H — the durability standard that matters when a device is handed between pupils rather than owned by one person.

It runs an Intel Celeron N150 with 4 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 32 GB of eMMC storage. That is deliberately modest: ChromeOS runs comfortably on it for browser and Google Workspace work, and a microSD card reader covers anything local. It is not a machine for heavy multitasking, and it is not priced as one.

Wireless is Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth. There is an HD camera plus a 5 MP world-facing camera for the tablet mode, a 53 Wh battery and a 65 W adapter. No stylus is supplied with this configuration — the R756TN model in this range includes one. It runs ChromeOS with a three-year carry-in warranty.
